Welcome to the Client Portal

The CCH iFirm Client Portal allows users to share documents, data, and reports with clients in a secure online environment. To register for the portal, users receive an invitation via email with a link that expires after seven days. Once clicked, the link takes the user to the registration page.

CCH iFirm uses multi-factor authentication, so users may be required to enter an additional code to register. Users can access multiple portals using the same email address and password. If invited to multiple portals, users will be able to choose which portal to view.

Steps to get Access to the Portal

New users Access

When your accountant invites you to use Client Portal you will receive an email containing a link, which is valid for 7 days. Click on the link provided and proceed with the registeration process.

Register to the portal

  • Enter your First Name, Last Name and Email Address under the Register section.
  • Type a password
  • Click Register.
  • Select your preferred option for receiving the authentication code using 2-Step Verification

Access a portal

You first need to register to use the Client Portal product. Once registered, you can log in to the portal. If you have been invited to multiple portals, you will log in with your existing log in credentials and you can then select a particular portal to open.

Login to the portal

To log in to the CCH iFirm Client Portal, you can try the following steps

  • Open the Browser
  • Type the client portal URL in the address Link here
  • Enter the email address and password used to register for the
    portal.
  • Click Login

Note: When you are logged in your name appears in the top right hand corner next to the Logout button, which you should use to
securely log out of Client Portal

Access to multiple portals

When you are invited to an additional portal you will receive another email containing a link. You do not need to register for Client Portal again, just log in as usual and you can access the new portal along with any others you have been invited to.

  • Log in to Client Portal again
  • Select your preferred option for receiving the authentication code using 2-Step Verification
  • Click on Select portal and choose the required one.
  • Upload the documents there.

Forget your password ?

  • Click the Forgot your password? link on the Client Portal log in page.
  • Type your email address.
  • Click OK – a temporary password is sent to that email address.
  • Click the link in the email
  • Type a new password and confirm it
  • Click Change Password.
